The German University in Cairo (GUC), as part of the Erasmus+ RADIO Project, hosted a two-day meeting of the RADIO Project Steering and Scientific Committee (SSC) in December 2025.
The meeting brought together representatives of the RADIO Project partners to review the progress of the project, discuss key implementation activities, and coordinate the next steps towards achieving the project’s objectives.
Throughout the meeting, the Steering and Scientific Committee reviewed the progress achieved across the different project activities and work packages. Discussions focused on key aspects of project implementation, including project coordination, quality assurance, dissemination and communication activities, capacity building, and financial management.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for project partners to exchange updates, share experiences, identify challenges, and discuss potential solutions to ensure the effective and timely implementation of the planned activities.
Particular attention was given to the project's ongoing and upcoming activities, with partners discussing priorities and agreeing on action points to support the continued progress of the RADIO Project. The discussions also emphasized the importance of effective collaboration and coordination among all participating institutions.
The SSC meeting concluded with a summary of the key outcomes and agreed action points, providing a clear framework for the next phase of project implementation.
Through regular Steering and Scientific Committee meetings, the Erasmus+ RADIO Project ensures effective governance, continuous monitoring, scientific coordination, quality assurance, and strong collaboration among its partner institutions.
