The University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene is a public Algerian university that was officially opened by decree number 74-50 on April 25, 1974, and was named the University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene in 1980 in honor of the deceased President "Houari Boumediene". It is an important center for training and research in the fields of science and technology due to its equipped laboratories and research centers in its various faculties. It was also designed to be a mini-city offering all the necessary amenities that a student may need in their university life, thus ensuring optimal training and student life experience, with various facilities available. |

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering offers Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral programs in four fields (Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrotechnics, and Automation) within four departments: Department of Electronics Department of Automation Department of Electrotechnics Department of Telecommunications The faculty offers: to first-year undergraduate students (L1_ST): four academic Bachelor's degree programs across the four fields of Electrical Engineering. to Bachelor's degree students in Electrical Engineering: 12 Master's degree programs (three professional and nine academic) across the four fields. to Master's degree students: four Doctoral programs in the various specializations of the four fields of Electrical Engineering. Research at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering is supported by seven research laboratories (LINS, LTIR, LCPTS, LSEI, LRPE, LISIC, LCDEP) covering a wide range of topics in: Electronics, Electrotechnics, Renewable Energy, Automation, and Telecommunications. The Faculty of Electrical Engineering is supported by a highly motivated administrative staff, a pool of highly competent research professors, a library with a reading room, and a dedicated administrative and technical staff. |
