Visit of Princess Dana Firas, Vice President of the International Council on Monuments and Heritage Sites
The Arab Academy received at Abu Qir campus Her Highness Princess Dana Firas, Vice President of the International Council of Monuments and Heritage Sites, where she was received by His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy. The President of the Academy welcomed Her Highness and His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar gave a brief presentation in which he defined the various activities carried out by the Academy through its headquarters, its various branches and colleges in various fields, and the scientific and research cooperation agreements between the Academy and major universities in the world, in addition to international and local accreditations for all educational programs.
At the end of the visit, His Excellency the President of the Academy presented the Academy’s shield to Princess Dana, and she made an inspection tour of the Academy’s facilities, where she visited the Planetarium Center, the Maritime Safety Institute, the Simulation Complex, the College of Pharmacy and the College of Engineering and their laboratories.
The visit was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Yasser Galal, Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology, Prof. Dr. Amira Senbel, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, and Dr. Abeer Murad, Director of the Institutional Communication Department.
