In the context of keeping pace with everything new that occurs on the international scene in the fields of scientific research, modern teaching and learning mechanisms, and enhancing the competitiveness of the educational process at the Academy, to be in the ranks of prestigious international universities
International cooperation came between:
Kassel University, Germany and
Departments of Architecture and Environmental Design, Faculty of Engineering and Technology - the Academy’s branches in Port Said and Alexandria.

To be translated in an international student workshop entitled “Urban Renewal of Coastal Cities”, which began its first discussion on Saturday, 4/11/2023, and was extended to Saturday, 11/11/2023, to shed light on the urban renewal of costal cities, through various water bodies.
In addition, in this context, the workshop discussed topics related to the urban planning and social issues, such as comprehensive urban renewal strategies beside the effective and pivotal role of the community in activating these strategies, and the concepts of making this place become an added value which positively affects society; specifically in the shed of existing challenges such as random construction and traffic density, and how to maximize the benefit from the sea destinations of the coastal cities, the coastal cities with water and how they affect each other. In addition to topics related to urban design and architectural design in the historical context.
