AASTMT students winning the second place in "Hackathon competition" in round one of the Artificial Intelligence Capacity Building Initiative.

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) students won the second place in the Hackathon competition that was held in the first round of the Capacity Building Initiative for universities in the field of artificial intelligence on Sunday 16- 7- 2023, at Giza Creativa Innovation Hub. The initiative was carried out at Giza Creativa Innovation Hub, in collaboration between the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and Dell Technologies – Egypt. H.E. Dr. Amr Talaat - Minister of Communications and Information Technology honored AASTMT students, in the presence of H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President, as for winning the the second place in the hackathon that was held on improving water efficiency in Egypt using AI. This competition aims at building the capacity of 500 students in five different universities, namely: Cairo University, Ain Shams University, the American University in Cairo (AUC), the German University in Cairo (GUC), and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (AASTMT).
