Visit to the Western Sahara Petroleum Company "WEPCO"

The College of Engineering and Technology always seeks to enhance cooperation with prestigious industry bodies and companies to gain experience, which in turn enhances the improvement of the level of engineering education.
In light of the fruitful cooperation with the Western Desert Petroleum Company (WEPCO), we were honored by the visit of Eng. Ibrahim Masoud - Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director, and a high-ranking delegation from the company represented by:

This is by visiting the College of Engineering and Technology at the main headquarters in Abu Qir - Deanship of Professor Dr. Akram Suleiman Al-Salami, and organized and coordinated with Professor Dr. Iman Morsi - Vice Dean for Training and Community Service on Sunday, October 1, 2023.
This is after the successful completion of the free training course for distinguished students provided by WEPCO on the topic:
Control Valves Engineering
Which took place over the course of two weeks for 55 students from the college’s various departments (Mechanical Engineering - Electrical and Control Engineering - Marine and Platform Engineering - Petroleum and Gas Engineering - Industrial and Administrative Engineering - Electronics and Communications Engineering) during the period from 09/17/2023 to 09/27/2023.

The visit began by receiving the guests at the office of Professor Dr. Akram Suleiman Al-Sulami, followed by a visit to the laboratories of the Department of Electrical and Control Engineering. Then, Engineer Ibrahim Masoud and his accompanying delegation delivered course completion certificates to all students who passed the final exam for the course.

The College of Engineering and Technology extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the company for all the efforts made in cooperating with the college in order to raise the level of students, wishing them lasting success and excellence and continued fruitful cooperation in the future.
