Introduction to Mass Communication 7th Week Assessment Tasks – Media Messages and Music to Face the COVID-19 Pandemic

In alignment with the CLC educational strategic plan reinforced by Professor Hanan Youssef, the college Dean, students continuously receive a balanced instructional input premised on theory and practice. In response to the educatiobal strategies of CLC as well as the measures taken against the spread of COVID-19, Professor Hanan Youssef, the college Dean, assigned students several community-related assessment tasks in the Introduction to Mass Communication course she delivers to Term 1 students. Students successfully and creatively developed several community messages that encourage people to stay home and be safe. Mohamed Talal Anwar, Haidy Ahmed Nashaat, Salma Mohamed Hamza, Ahmed Youssef El Sayed, Aya Shobeib El Damarany, Salma Mohamed Abdel Gawad, Farha Mohamed Youssef, Nourhan Mohamed Sherif, Malak Ashraf Mohamed and Adam El Khattab were among the outstanding students who created these media messages. One of the media messages created is a news broadcast making people aware of the COVID-19 pandemic risks and the necessary precautions to avoid it. The 7th week assessment plan aligns with declarations from the AASTMT Supreme Council of Education as all classes are moving online for the remainder of the spring semester.
