A Visit from the delegation of the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC)

A high-level delegation from the National Accreditation Agency, led by Engineer Hani Al-Desouki, conducted an inspection visit to the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport from July 2 to 3, 2024. His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy, welcomed the delegation.

The visit included tours of several key locations at the Academy: the College of Pharmacy laboratories at the New Alamein City branch, under Dr. Evan Ibrahim; the College of Pharmacy laboratories in Abu Qir, led by Dr. Amira Senbel; the College of Engineering laboratories at the main headquarters, overseen by Dr. Akram Suleiman; and the College of Artificial Intelligence laboratories at the New Alamein City branch, headed by Dr. Ali Fahmy. The delegation also visited the Planetarium Center.

This visit is part of the cooperation protocol between the Academy and the Ministry of Industry, aiming to achieve international accreditation for the Academy’s laboratories. This collaboration supports Egypt’s industry, trade, transportation, and logistics sectors.

The delegation praised the Academy's pioneering role as an Arab and international educational institution. They also expressed appreciation for the efforts led by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar in enhancing education and scientific research, contributing to the support of transport, industry, trade, and logistics in Egypt and the Arab region.

The visit was accompanied by Dr. Mustafa Rashid, Assistant President of the Academy, and Dr. Mohamed Abd Rabbo, Dean of the Institute of Productivity and Quality.
