A Delegation from the Pharmaceutical Sciences Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport received the Pharmaceutical Sciences Sector Committee of the Supreme Council of Universities, which includes Prof. Dr. Mervat Qassem, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Alexandria University (Chairman) and Prof. Dr. Haitham Maimoun, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Menoufia University, and Prof. Dr. Mona Al-Aasar, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Tanta University, within the framework of the equivalence of the degree of Bachelor of Pharmacy “Pharm D” and Bachelor of Pharmacy “Pharm D Clinical Pharmacy”.

The committee inspected the human and construction capabilities and equipment of the College of Pharmacy building at the main headquarters in Abu Qir, the classrooms, laboratories, its smart education systems, the central research laboratories, the animal house, the virtual patient device, the pharmaceutical factory, and the educational pharmacy.

The committee also inspected the supporting services for students of the College of Pharmacy at the main headquarters: the central library and electronic books, the gym and sports fields, restaurants, cafeterias, and student housing. This is in addition to learning about the history of the Arab Academy, one of the organizations of the League of Arab States specialized in education, scientific research, and consulting, and its various colleges in the various branches.
