AASTMT Industrial Advisory Council "6th Session"

Within the keenness of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) on the progress of the educational process, as to excel its educational services, as well as to improve the quality of education and its continuous development, the activities of AASTMT Industrial Advisory Council "Session 6" that entitled "development and excellence journey, building capabilities, and enhancing industry and innovation through training". The council was held on Monday 20- 5- 2024, at AASTMT AbuKir Campus - Alexandria.

The opening session chaired by H.E. Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag – AASTMT President was held in the presence of H.E. Major General Eng. Mokhtar Abdel Latif - Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, H.E. Prof. Dr. Yousry El-Gamal - Advisor to AASTMT President and Former Minister of Education, H.E. Dr. Jacqueline Azer - Deputy Governor of Alexandria, H.E. Rear Admiral Hussein AlJaziri - Chairman of the Egyptian Authority for maritime Safety and a group of representatives from different companies, organizations and trade unions’, with the participation of a large number of industrial entities and AASTMT Officials.

During the Council's activities, AASTMT hosted representatives of 100 companies and industrial entities, and representatives of the medical sector in various specialties, in addition to 190 participant representing various industrial entities. Furthermore, AASTMT had signed a number of protocols and co-operational agreements with various parties, including Badr El Din Petroleum Company, Petromont Petroleum Company, Labnita Company as considered one of Mansour Group companies, the Egyptian Petroleum Research Institute, Spirax Company, APG Consultancy Experience Company, Industrial Automation System Company (AIS), Afro Egypt, and Brightskies Geoscience as a serving company for gas and oil exploration in Egypt.
