Tinkercad for Beginners

One factor in preparing an outstanding engineer is early encouragement to take on leadership roles in assisting colleagues, which enhances their understanding and practical application of engineering sciences. It also helps develop students' communication and leadership skills, fosters interaction methods, and promotes teamwork. From this standpoint, the Electrical Engineering and Control Department, under the leadership of Professor Dr. Walid Ahmed Maher Ghoneim at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology in Abu Qir, along with Dr. Rania Aasim, responsible for training and student activities in the department, is pleased to announce the organization of a free workshop for students of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology titled:

"Tinkercad for Beginners"

The workshop will be presented by the student group "Wired For Success," composed of several students from the Electrical Engineering and Control Department. The course will cover some important basics to help students take their first steps in applying simple electrical and electronic projects practically, such as:

  • Introduction to Arduino
  • Introduction to the Tinkercad program
  • Implementation of a project with various components

The workshop will take place on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Lab 105 in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology at the main campus in Abu Qir, from 2:15 PM to 4:00 PM.
