American Society of Health System Pharmacists Commendation for AASTMT College of Pharmacy students

As part of the productive collaboration between the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) and the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), the latest electronic monthly issue of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) publication has acknowledged the successful training completion of 211 bachelor’s students from AASTMT's College of Pharmacy (batch 2022 – 2023) under the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) program. This training has enabled AASTMT students to attain the Clinical Skills Certificate for International Pharmacy, marking their achievements for the third consecutive year. Additionally, the ASHP article highlighted the pivotal role played by the college's academic staff in the comprehensive academic preparation of the students.

It's worth mentioning that this training encompasses a robust curriculum consisting of over 23 hours of educational content spread across 9 modules. The training program concludes with the successful completion of a comprehensive exam, underlining the rigor of the training process. Notably, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) stands as the largest association representing pharmacy professionals in the United States, with a membership that includes 60,000 pharmacists, student pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians across various patient care settings.
