Description

This course is an introduction to cloud computing and related research issues. The cloud computing paradigm will be introduced along with related concepts such as providing software, platform, and infrastructure as services. In addition, cloud computing architectures and cloud technologies will be explored including current cloud deployment experiences and cloud applications. Furthermore, the need for security and privacy in cloud systems will be highlighted and emphasized. Moreover, issues related to deploying cloud systems will be discussed such as virtualization and cloud systems evaluation.
