About Interior & Furniture Design
The Interior & Furniture Design program develops designers who can create functional, innovative, and aesthetically engaging interior environments and furniture solutions.
Through a studio-based, hands-on learning approach alongside lecturers, students explore the complete design process. From research and concept development to spatial planning, furniture design, material selection, technical development, visualization techniques, and final presentation methods and preparation.
The program integrates digital design tools, emerging technologies, AI programs, and sustainable design principles to help students respond creatively to design challenges. Students also gain practical experience through projects that connect design based thinking with actual users, materials, modern technology, and the built environment.
Graduates are taught a skill set that prepares them to work across the fields of interior design, furniture design, spatial design, visualization, and related creative industries, with the ability to develop thoughtful design solutions that balance functionality, aesthetics, technology, and user needs.
Our students transform ideas into design solutions for real-world contexts through a progressive, studio-based learning experience.
Projects develop students' ability to move from research and analysis to concept development, design development, material exploration, technical resolution, digital visualization, and final presentation.
From interior environments to furniture pieces, student work reflects a combination of creative thinking, technical knowledge, experimentation, and an understanding of human needs. Each project provides an opportunity to explore different scales of design while developing an individual design approach.
Global learning opportunities that expose students to international standards, diverse cultures, and creative exchange through partnerships and academic collaborations are provided for students regularly.
Specialized courses that enhance technical, digital, and creative skills aligned with current market needs and emerging trends are constantly provided for students.
Well-equipped studios, labs, and creative spaces equipped with the latest technology are designed to support experimentation, production, and collaborative learning with proper tools to support it.
