1. AAST Rally Competition, 2021 - Current

The AAST Entrepreneurship Rally is an annual competition that aims to promote entrepreneurship among students across all branches of the Academy. The competition serves as a launching pad for students to participate in the center's activities and represent the Academy in the Egypt Entrepreneurship Rally.
The AAST Entrepreneurship Rally is part of a series of training and educational activities that aim educate young people in entrepreneurship, with a special focus on Academy students.

2. Egypt Rally startup competition, 2020 - Current

Rally Startup Competition is a full program that focuses on youth from 18 to 40 years who are eager to create and develop startups and become entrepreneurs. The program helps promote entrepreneurship amongst Egyptian youth by exposing them to the entrepreneurial culture and ecosystem from an early age.
Rally Egypt is the competition between universities from all over the nation, however, due to the large size of AAST (8 campuses), Rally AAST is where all the teams from different AAST campuses compete first to select 2 winning teams that will move on to compete in Rally Egypt.

3.Rally Accelerate Startup Competition, 2021 - Current

Rally Accelerate is an End-to-End Fundraising program that targets startups that are in the growth phase them for investments. The program was created in 2021 and has since been known as one of the strongest programs fostering fund raising and investment excellence. The program welcomes any start-up that has already made traction, which means they have started to attain revenues. It usually opens calls for start-ups operating in a variety of industries rather than focusing on one specific industry.
Rally Accelerate program has many partners and supporting entities throughout the years which assist in providing consultation services to start-ups as well as providing funds to the program, and investments to the winners. Examples of these partnerships include: NBE, KIT, GIZ, Business Egypt, USAID, Obaikan, and DEN VC.

4.Arab Rally Competition for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, 2021-Current

Arab Rally Competition for Entrepreneurship & Innovation is one of the largest entrepreneurship & Innovation competitions that gathers, inspires, develops, and mentors’ university students to help them develop innovative startup ideas, and turn their ideas into a real-life business and experience.
This competition helps youth to become entrepreneurs from a young age, and learn about the entrepreneurship & Innovation culture and its wide ecosystem.

5.The Egyptian Olympiad Informatics (EOI) Competition , 2002- Current

AAST- Regional Informatics center -RIC- is the headquarter for the -EOI-.
For the last 18 years, the RIC hosted, trained, and developed the skills of Schools student’s to participate and represent Egypt in the International Olympiad in Informatics -IOI- in collaboration with the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
It is worth mentioning that the EOI competition is an annual competition in programming held under the patronage of MCIT and executed by AASTMT.

6.The International Olympiad Informatics (IOI) Competition , 2024

(AASTMT) is honored to organize the International Olympiad in Informatics in its thirty-sixth edition, during the period from 1 to 8 September 2024 in Alexandria.
Opening ceremony of IOI 2024, the 36th International Olympiad of Informatics, hosted by AASTMT and streamed directly from the Bibliotheca Alexandrina! Witness the excitement as brilliant young minds from 96 countries for a celebration of coding, innovation, and excellence in informatics.
This event is under the distinguished patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and with the Arab League’s commitment to investing in intellectual growth.

7.International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) Competition, 2005-Current

The contest fosters creativity, teamwork, and innovation in building new software programs, and enables students to test their ability to perform under pressure. Quite simply, it is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world.

8.The Africa and Arab Collegiate Programming Championship (ACPC), March 2024

The Africa and Arab Collegiate Programming Championship (ACPC) is a qualifying round for the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC). ACPC is organized in the same spirit and is governed by all applicable rules of the ICPC. Winners of an ACPC contest qualify to the ICPC World Finals.
The competition now boasts over 12,000 participants, showcasing the dedication of universities and students across Africa and the Arab regions for competitive programming and problem-solving.

9.The Egyptian competition for Programming for University Youth, ECPC 2024

Under the auspices of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), the Egyptian Programming Competition for University Youth (ECPC) was launched in its twenty-fourth session, organized by AASTMT, in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) and the Innovators Support Fund at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The competition is held at AASTMT AbuKir Headquarters with the participation of 3,000 teams represented by 12,000 students from 123 universities and institutes from various governorates of the Republic of Egypt Arabic to select the best 150 teams to participate in the final qualifiers.

10. RoboCup Junior Egypt competition, Current

The Regional Informatics Center at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology is preparing for organizing one of the largest international competitions in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence applications for school and university students, which is RoboCupJunior Egypt competition.
RoboCup was founded in 1997 with the main goal of “developing by 2050 a Robot Soccer team capable of winning against the human team champion of the FIFA World Cup”. In the next years, RoboCup proposed several soccer platforms that have been established as standard platforms for robotics research.
RoboCup Junior is a project-oriented educational initiative that supports local, regional, and international robotic events for young students. It is designed to introduce RoboCup to primary and secondary school children, as well as undergraduates who do not have the resources to get involved in the senior leagues.
