Entrepreneurship Center, Launching a Series of Workshops  to Support Innovation & Entrepreneurship in the Smart Industry​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

In the presence of government officials, from the Arab Authority for Manufacturing, the Industry Renewal Center, and an elite factory managers of multinational companies in Egypt, Al-Obeikan and the Arab Academy Entrepreneurship Center are launching a series of workshops to identify challenges and opportunities to support innovation and entrepreneurship in the smart industry.

Main subject of the workshops, to identify the most important challenges and opportunities for emerging companies in the smart manufacturing sector, with the participation of a number of government officials, such as the Arab Authority for Manufacturing, and the Industry Update Center, as well as an elite industry experts from multinational companies, working in Egypt, and representatives of the community of entrepreneurs and startups Attendees discussed the main challenges facing the intelligent industry, including administrative and bureaucratic challenges, related to the accelerated development of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, and the most relevant opportunities, and the discussions touched upon the role of artificial intelligence technologies.

Wave Power Generation Unit Project  by Industry Service Complex (ISC) at the Conference of the National Initiative for Smart Green Project

The participation of the Technical and Vocational Institute at the Industry Service Complex in the conference of the National Initiative for Smart Green Projects under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mostafa Kamal Madbouly the Prime Minister, Dr. Hala Elsaid Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Dr. Mahmoud Mohieldin President of the Jury, and several ministers and governors.  

The Institute participated in one of the graduation projects for students, which was chosen among the best six projects at the level of Alexandria governorate and the best 162 projects nationwide. The project is titled Wave Power Generation Unit, a power generation unit from sea waves .

“Independent Banking” Project, Winner on GoodWill incubator​​​​​​​

“Independent Banking” project has been selected as the best project out of 24 projects for entrepreneurs of determination in the GoodWill incubator competition to participate in the "people of determination International Expo in Dubai" from November 14-17, in coordination with the Federation of Arab chambers and the UNIDO investment and Technology Promotion Office in Bahrain.

The idea of the project is to develop an electronic banking system to provide banking services to people with visual impairments, taking into account their accessibility capabilities and needs.

A Training Camp EOI 2022 - Regional Informatics Center -RIC

A training camp for students of the Egyptian Olympiad in Informatics with the Chinese expert Richard Ping, a lecturer at an American university, as well as responsible for training students from various countries that win gold medals in the International Olympiad in Informatics.

Training Camp designed to prepare you for the Egyptian Olympiad in Informatics.

Expert-Led Sessions: Learn from experienced programmers and Olympiad coaches, Problem-Solving Challenges: Practice solving challenging programming problems, Competitive Programming Techniques: Master advanced algorithms and data structures, Teamwork and Collaboration: Develop teamwork and communication skills, Mock Competitions: Simulate the competition environment to prepare for the real thing.

Cairo College of Computing and Information Technology “2nd Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Workshop”

Within the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) Celebration of Golden Jubilee and the fiftieth year of foundation and as keeping on AASTMT vision to support collaborations in the field of education and training with national and international organizations, AASTMT Cairo Campus College of Computing and Information Technology organized the 2nd Workshor Bioinformatics and Computational Biology that was held under the patronage of H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail AbdelGhafar Ismail Farag - President, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abo Rizka - Dean of AASTMT Cairo Campus College of Computing and Information Technology. The work shop was held on 15th - 16th of October 2022 at Dr. Gamal Mokhtar Hall - Engineering Building (A), in the presence of College of Computing and Information Technology academic staff members and students.

AASTMT Student's Team "3rd Place" in "International MATE ROV Competition for robotic submarines" Finals

Within the role of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport's (AASTMT) in supporting  students' talents, AASTMT student's team won the third place in the final qualifiers for the International MATE ROV Competition for robotic submarines.

The competition was held in the United States of America with the participation of 63 teams from 12 countries, with the support of U.S. National Science Foundation and Marine Technology Society.
