AASTMT is committed to supporting SDG 6 in regards to the proportion of wastewater safely treated to meet quality standards. Recognizing the critical role it plays in preserving water quality, AASTMT has implemented a robust Recycling Policy, aiming to minimize its environmental footprint and reduce the discharge of pollutants into water sources. The institution has also established Medical/Toxic Waste Disposal Contracts with Nahdet Misr for Modern Environmental services for lifting, transporting and treating hazardous wastes to ensure the safe and responsible disposal of hazardous materials, preventing contamination of water supplies. Additionally, AASTMT engages in Waste Disposal Companies Contracts to efficiently manage and dispose of general waste, further mitigating potential environmental impacts. To reinforce these efforts, the institution adheres to Environmental Standard ISO-14001, providing a systematic framework for managing environmental responsibilities.
