Overview and local nursery partnerships
AASTMT recognizes that dependable childcare is essential for staff and works to provide practical, affordable options. In Alexandria and Cairo, the Protocol & Public Relations unit maintains published arrangements with local nurseries that offer staff discounts—see the “Nurseries” page for providers and rates.

On-site access and club facilities - Smart Village campus
On the Smart Village campus, AASTMT’s own overview confirms that students receive free membership of the Smart Village Club, giving access to family-oriented facilities on site. Smart Village’s official site further indicates that a nursery service is available within the business park (Arabic page: “هنا في القرية الذكية، هناك إمكانية ترك طفلك في حضانتنا خلال فترة عملك…”) and highlights the family-friendly environment of the Club.

Current status and ongoing provision - El-Alamein campus
Together, these arrangements enable colleagues—including recent mothers—to attend courses and fulfil professional duties while their children are cared for nearby. At El-Alamein, AASTMT continues to expand campus services; while no public AASTMT page currently announces an on-campus nursery, updates and student-service details are posted on the El-Alamein campus and Student Affairs pages.

As noted on the website, all employees and staff can benefit from the Smart Village facilities, with childcare being one of the key services offered.
Additionally, AAST is working on establishing a nursery at the Al-Almain branch and planning a new nursery within the Smart Village campus building itself, further enhancing convenience and support for staff and students with young children at both locations.
