Hayah Karima Foundation:

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) has signed a cooperation protocol with the Hayah Karima Foundation to promote social entrepreneurship, health awareness, and youth empowerment. The agreement includes implementing specialized training programs and workshops, providing technical and advisory support for community-based and health-oriented projects, and offering internships and volunteer opportunities for students. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to advancing education, improving community health, and developing youth capacities in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030.

Egyptian Ministry of Health:

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport received His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Tayeb, Deputy Minister of Health and Population for Governance, Control and Institutional Development, and his accompanying delegation, at the Academy's headquarters in El Alamein. During the visit, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy, met with the members of the delegation, in the presence of a group of officials from the Academy's centers of responsibility, where a discussion session was held to discuss ways of cooperation between the two sides, which include training, organizing specialized courses, and exchanging experiences. The delegation also praised the Academy and the capabilities provided by the Academy to support the educational process, especially the various clinics and the Academy Hospital in El Alamein, which keep pace with international standards in the field of health care.

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport received the delegation of the Medical Studies Sector Committee at the Supreme Council of Universities, headed by His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ashraf Hatem – Member of Parliament and former Minister of Health, on Thursday, 21-8-2025, at the Academy's headquarters in New Alamein.

During the visit, His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Academy, met with the members of the delegation, in the presence of a group of officials from the responsibility centers in the medical sector at the Academy, where a discussion session was held to discuss ways of cooperation between the two sides, and all topics related to developments and achievements, and the capabilities and capabilities reached by the Academy. The delegation then toured the headquarters, where the delegation praised the Academy and the capabilities it provides to support the educational process, especially the various laboratories and clinics, the academic hospital and the virtual hospital, which keep pace with international standards.

AASTMT students participated in diverse international training and workshops, including a mental health workshop at UMF Iuliu Hațieganu University in Romania and the Biomed Conference 2023 in Delhi. Arab Medical Systems Egypt

A laser workshop was held on 26th and 27th november in collaboration with Medency Dental Laser - Arab Medical Systems Egypt -AMSE Professors at college of dentistry, AASTMT presented some interesting lectures covering the latest laser technologies in dentistry and 5th year students participated in a hands-on session at the end of the day.

International Workshops and training programs in hospitals and institutions

AASTMT students participated in diverse international training and workshops, including a mental health workshop at UMF Iuliu Hațieganu University in Romania and the Biomed Conference 2023 in Delhi. Students gained hands-on experience through month-long training at Uniklinik Augsburg in Germany, a 30-day program at the Editing Center in Qatar, and research training at Northwestern University in Chicago. Additionally, students received clinical training at King Fahd Hospital in Saudi Arabia, enhancing their global medical expertise.

Advancing AI Ethics: International Workshop on Ethical and Secure AI Standards

AASTMT, in collaboration with the League of Arab States and UNESCO, hosted a workshop in Alexandria under the patronage of H.E. Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
This workshop focused on enhancing awareness of AI ethics and developing international standards for ethical and secure AI use. Experts from Arab, regional, and international organizations gathered to discuss AI ethics and the global standard tool endorsed by UNESCO.

UN INTERNATIONAL DAY OF WOMEN AND GIRLS IN SCIENCE

23 Women scientists were invited by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport to discover their new innovative Alamein Campus and AI College. The visit was led by Dr. Amira Senbel, Dean of the college of Pharmacy and 2013 L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Fellowship Laureate.

This visit reflects UNESCO Regional office for Egypt and Sudan’s objectives to empower Arab women scientists, explore AI applications in Science, and support sustainable campus
