• is course aims at introducing the students with the study of Middle Egyptian. The first part of the course will deal with the phases of the ancient Egyptian language and scripts, while from the second class on students will study phonology, morphology and syntax. Students will first learn to read and transliterate short royal and gods’ names and procced with the course to read full sentences and short passages..
