The belief of the Academy of the need to provide excellent educational service to all our students in Egypt and the Arab world and to overcome the difficulties of distance, the Academy moved the port Training Institute outside its headquarters region in Alexandria to provide the educational services to our students in Port Said and the neighbouring governorates.The new branch of Port Training Institute of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport was opened in Port Said "Port Fouad City" on Saturday, 9/ 1/ 2010
The AASTMT vision in establishing the new branch of Port Training Institute aims to achieve the following targets:
* Provide job opportunities for teaching staff and technicians in Port Said.
* Train the workers in ports and maritime transport sector in Port Said, neighbouring governorates and Suez Canal Authority.
* The contribution of the institute in the field of society services by qualifying and raising the efficiency of school and university alumnus in different fields (English Language programs – Computer and Information Technology Programs – Management and Supervision Programs – Financial and Accounting Programs – Engineering and Technical Programs.)
