The College of Language and Communication (CLC) is committed to creating learning and training environments that nurture creativity, promote excellence, and facilitate effective application of instructional inputs in manners that tie closely to the needs of national and regional labor markets. Our CLC practical training plan serves as a catalyst of capacity-building opportunities tailoredto graduate professionals who are competitive, innovative, knowledgeable, and passionate.Central to CLC’s practical training mission is the instruction of students in the essential,practical, and theoretical knowledge they will need to succeed in their chosen disciplines.Students, therefore, actively engage in a variety of cutting-edge educational and professionaltraining programs, workshops, seminars, symposia, orientations, film festivals, scientificconferences, national events, celebrations, to name a few. Students receive formal trainings in several international educational institutions, namely Sheridan College in Toronto; Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) in Barcelona; UCLan in the UK, professional training institutions in Egypt such as the Egyptian Media Production City (EMPC) and Youm7 Academy; and numerous workshops organized by CLC in the fields of public relations, writing for the media, journalism, radio and television, photography, among others under the unwavering support and guidance of experts and professors of practice. The ultimate aim is to make remarkable contributions to the cultural growth and well-being of students in preparation of immersive opportunities in global communities as media leaders. Our strategic plan is ever-evolving, fluid and bold, enabling us to be responsive to market changes and intentionally innovative, allowing us to create influential ripples in the higher education industry.
