• is course aims at introducing students to museums and exhibitions through a multi- disciplinary approach. This is an introductory course to understand the development of museums historically versus the museums today. The course discusses the purpose of museums and how the public responds to museum objects and spaces. The course will also analyze how museums interact with social justices, human rights and creativity. Students will learn through the reflective experience of students when visiting museums to see how they impact the contemporary world and how they can be used as tools for learning and development. Readings will complement the discussions which will be in form of a seminar rather than frontal lectures..
