Healthcare benefits Regulations for AASTMT students

·   These regulations are applicable for all students who are registered for Bachelor Degree.

·  The maximum amount of expenses should not exceed LE 5000 for each academic term, and this amount is not transferable from one term to another.

·  The Academy would not bear any medical expenses for illnesses incurred during Vacations and holydays.

·   The Academy would not bear any expenses to cover accidents occurring outside the Academy premises, especially road-traffic/motor vehicle accidents and suicide attempts.

·   The Academy will not cover chronic illnesses which were present before  the student joined the Academy, or those which will be discovered later after joining the Academy (such as chronic viral hepatitis and its complications, psychiatric and neurologic illnesses, diseases of impaired immunity, addiction problems etc.)

·   Plastic surgeries, Lasik eye surgeries, bariatric surgeries, cosmetic skin diseases and hair fall treatment are not covered by the Academy.

·   Obstetric and gynecological problems are not covered by the Academy.

·   Students are only eligible for regular Dental coverage, and are not covered for Dental fixtures or implants.

·   In case transferred for hospital admission whether for surgery or any other cause, students are eligible for treatment in a first-class room.
