In addition to completing a research thesis, the program requires students to take four core courses and four elective courses. The elective courses offered are gouped in four different areas of study: • Architecture and Interior Design • Environmental Design and Architectural Technology • Urban Studies • Construction Management Through their selection of elective courses, students have the flexibility to either concentrate on one particular area of interest or explore different areas of study.
Applicants to the Master of Science program must hold an undergraduate Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a university or college accredited by the SCU. An admission test is organized by the Department for students applying to study for the Master of Science in Engineering. If the applicant does not pass this admission test, the department council can require the applicant to study qualifying courses before starting the program. The applicant is required to pass these courses with a GPA of not less than 3.00 to be enrolled for study.
