It covers the identification and assessment of security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks across different operational environments. Topics include risk analysis, threat assessment, vulnerability assessment, security planning, risk mitigation, emergency preparedness, incident response, and business continuity. The course also examines security technologies, management strategies, and decision-making approaches used to enhance organizational resilience and protect people, assets, information, and operations. By the end of the course, students will be able to: Explain the fundamental principles of security and risk management. Identify potential security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks. Apply basic methods for risk identification and assessment. Analyze the likelihood and potential consequences of security incidents.
