Formulation Characterization, Stability and Efficacy Studies

Description

This course aims at offering Master students the routine research analytical techniques used in physical, chemical and microbiological characterization of drugs and dosage forms, in addition to up-to-date information about international and harmonized regulatory requirements for stability testing of various pharmaceutical and cosmetic products. The student will also be provided with various tests used for stability testing of nanotechnology containing products. Routine in-vitro and in-vivo techniques used in testing drug product efficacy will be discussed. A focus on the application of simulation and in-silico models will be provided. In addition, the student will be provided with the skills required to interpret the results for further processing.
