Objectives

• • Introduce students to the general and special design requirements in industrial and commercial electrical installations. • Introduce students to the design aspects for electrical load estimation in accordance to standards and codes • To demonstrate how electrical installations are carried out in building / facilities and the corresponding civil considerations required. • Familiarize students with coordination of engineering disciplines within the project life cycle • Use of software packages in designing illumination and lighting projects
