At the end of this course students will be able to : 1 -Understand inventory management activity as one of the key logistics activities and the most important decisions related to it. 2 -Analyze the different environments of the organizations and mentions inventory models 3- Apply new concepts and tools in inventory management practices. 4-Discover different forecasting methods to determine inventory quantities. 5- Apply various techniques that can help in controlling and improving the inventory management. 6-Evaluate the current inventory situation and recommend new practices to improve performance through the use of specialized software such as Cin7 inventory software 7- Perform the work in accordance with legal rules and ethical and professional standards.

Objectives

• This course aims at providing the students with insights to different concepts and terminology in the field of inventory management, helps to understand the factors that affect inventory, how to respond to constantly volatile markets, methods to reduce costs, and renew inventory management practices through the adoption of new technologies and concepts. Students will gain a better understanding of the factors, concepts, and ideologies that affect inventory management. Students also learn techniques that can be applied and adapted to help improve inventory control and its management efficiently and effectively.
