Provide an advanced, in-depth knowledge of operations management where students from different disciplines will be exposed to several tools used by upper, middle- and first-line management, in both the service sector as well as the industrial sector, to improve the operations decision making process. 2. Understand the vital role and various functions of operations management within a business organization and apply quantitative and qualitative techniques to ensure efficient and effective production of goods and/or services.
