On completion of this course, students will be able to:1.1Demonstrate an appreciation of planning for a multimedia web site. 1.2Create multimedia applications using the basic elements of multimedia (typography, graphics, sound, video & animation) On completion of this course, students will be able to:2.1Develop their personal style and creativeness 2.2Analyse how multimedia impacts the internet and web-based applications.2.3Combine multimedia elements with the use of storyboarding On completion of this course, students will be able to:3.1Identify and apply appropriate multimedia software and techniques for a given task. 3.1Create linear, multimedia applications. On completion of this course, students will be able to:4.1Discuss issuesrelated to their work, explain and analyse the methodology used in order to reach the final visual result through oral presentations and written documentation.4.2Utilizelibrary and online resources and relevant research tools to retrieve primary and secondary sources.4.3Generate and present critical work employing relevant research skills. 4.4Develop the necessary skills for making oral presentations.4.5Develop the skills necessary for productive team work.

  • Introduce students to the basic concepts of multimedia and investigate how multimedia is changing our world. -Introduce students to the 5 elements of Multimedia (Graphics, Text, Video, Sound and Animation), both theoretically and practically. -Help students implement the 5 multimedia elements by the use of storyboarding -Discuss the cutting edge technology of Multimedia hardware and software. -Introduce an authoring tool and guide students to create a linear animation
