Through knowledge and understanding, students will be able to: • Identify the types of technical schools of the technology of oil painting • Recognise the anatomical structure of the oil paintings • Choose the types of materials and tools which used in oil paintings • Specify the most important terms in restoration and conservation oil paintings • Identify deterioration factors of the components of oil paintings • Explain the manifestations of deterioration of oil paintings • Identify methods of examination and analysis of oil paintings • Choose the methods of restoration and conservation of oil paintings.
