This course serve as an introduction to travel agency, its functions and departments, it defines tourism, its importance and reasons for growth, qualification of personnel and characteristics of tourism products. In addition, it tackles the requirements of a travel agency, its legal, financial and managerial aspects of its activities. Topics include all types and methods of services offered by a travel agency, differentiation between a retail travel agency and a tour operator and Sales Distribution Systems. Then, it explores types of tours, general criteria for their design, planning and implementing tour programs and the Confidential Tariff. It tackles the types of clients, marketing, promotion and tourism counseling. It allows students to know different International Tourism and Travel Organizations. Then, it gives an overview of Air Transportation
