A wide range of approaches, strategies, techniques for research choices will be explored. The course offers practical skills and knowledge in the use of advanced statistical techniques and their application to the research topic.

  • 1. Identify the attributes of a good research topic that includes generating ideas that is refined into research topic. 2. Understand the importance and purpose of the literature review and be able to reference the literature accurately. 3. Evaluate a range of strategies to gain access to research information and be able to anticipate ethical issues at each stage of research. 4. Be able to develop research design to answer research questions. 5. Be able to interpret a regression equation with reasoning about the validity and reliability of the fitted equation. 6. Identify the attributes of a good research topic that includes generating ideas that is refined into research topic.
