Description

This course is an introduction to selected important topics in biostatistical concepts and reasoning. It provides an introduction to statistical methods used in biological, fisheries and aquaculture-based research. It emphasizes on applications to fisheries and aquaculture research problems. This course introduces the scientific tools for the collection, analysis, and presentation of fisheries and aquaculture data together with review of methods for comparison of discrete and continuous data including t-test, correlation, ANOVA, and regression.
