It covers an integrated interdisciplinary collection of subjects: DSS components, DSS technology levels, managerial cognitive styles, DSS development. And the use of modeling languages. Applications of decision support systems, executive information systems and expert systems in a business environment are studied. Relationships between decision support systems, Knowledge-base systems, data /user/ machine interface system management and model management are explored.
