Description

The aim of this course is to learn Business Process Reengineering (BPR) techniques and processes. The course demonstrates how to add value to existing business application through understanding the relationship of BPR, strategic business planning and change management. Students will learn how to use BPR as a direction for cost reduction, improved control and competitive advantage.

  • 1. Describe reengineering tools with the ability to analyze the situations in which they are used. 2. Examine and revise business fundamental processes, in order to assess customers’ value and plan radical improvement in business performance. 3. Combine the organization’s assets such as core competencies, personnel skills, knowledge, customer relationships, market image and information in new and innovative ways to support organizations in gaining competitive advantage. 4. Understand the ISO 14001 standards and acknowledge its role in creating organization in gaining competitive advantage. 5. Gain audit skills and learn techniques for: evaluating, auditing, communicating and presenting audit reports. 6. Identify and write nonconformity statements and undertake audit follow-up activities.
