  • English

Description

This course is part of the Natural Sciences Cluster II. It provides the student with knowledge of the chemistry of nitrogenous compounds, aromatic, alicyclic, poly-nuclear hydrocarbons, and heterocyclic compounds. Students will be exposed to simple chemical synthesis exercises together with emphasis on their application in the field of drugs synthesis. The course also offers an introduction to the various spectroscopic techniques used for structure elucidation.
