Description

This course is part of the Natural Sciences Cluster II. It introduces the students to the early concepts of pharmaceutical quality control of drug preparations through the use of simple analytical methods. Principles of analytical techniques such as acid-base, complexation, redox and precipitimetric titrations, in addition to gravimetric analysis will be discussed. The students will be trained to apply these concepts to the analysis of water, drugs, excipients, and contaminants using compendial methods.
