Description
Pharmacoeconomics refers to the scientific discipline that compares the value of one pharmaceutical drug or drug therapy to another. It is a sub-discipline of health economics. In this course, the students will be introduced to principles of pharmacoeconomics. Lectures and activities are designed to help students explore the different models used in pharmacoeconomic studies to evaluate and compare the economic aspects of medication use. Students will become familiar with the main principles required for drug formulary development and will be introduced to health policy management.
