Description

This course is part of the “Biological Sciences Cluster II”. It is designed to provide the student with background information describing biomolecule behavior including ion channels, membrane transporters, drug receptors, and enzymes. Physical parameters relevant to the of biological systems will be discussed. In addition, an introduction to concepts of tissue excitability, ionic gradients and membrane potential will be incorporated in this course.
