Media Ethics and society is the study of moral and professional conduct within various communications contexts. This course will look at cases involved with advertising, broadcast journalism, film, photojournalism, print journalism, public relations, television, and the World Wide Web. The goal of this course is to provide students with the ability to recognize and confront potential ethical issues they might find within their careers. Through successful completion of course readings and assignments and through active participation in class discussions, students will have the tools to identify and analyze ethical issues.
