Objectives

  • By the end of this course students should be able to recognize and handle a wide array of grammatical terms and concepts; manipulate the variety of English tenses; demonstrate correct use of modal auxiliaries; produce well-formed passive and conditional structures; report indirect statements and questions; use articles and determiners appropriately; apply the rules related to adjectival clauses; use conjunctions and prepositions proficiently; and give short presentations to explain grammatical items of their choice.
