This course starts by introducing the approaches to business strategy and strategic decision making. Also it gives An overview about the Strategic analysis of the internal and external influences on an organization and Stakeholder expectations. In addition the course examines the role of information systems in assisting achievement of corporate objectives, and to consider methods for strategic and tactical planning of information systems. The course will identify central IS issues and problems, assess information technology systems as competitive tools; use methods for IS strategic analysis.
