It will thus provide a foundation for understanding advanced topics, such as Distributed Database Systems, Data Warehouse and OLAP, Data Mining, Web Databases and XML, Object Database, Active, Temporal, Intelligent and Deductive Databases, Heterogeneous Databases, Digital Library, Multimedia Databases, and Mobile Databases.
