This course is designed to familiarize the student with the principles, laws and organizations (e.g., UNCITRAL, UNIDROIT, ICC and WTO) that regulate and control international trade, namely on aspects of international contracts & negotiations, international sale of goods, letters of credit, international carriage of goods, cargo insurance, intellectual property, multinational enterprises, foreign investment and the alternative dispute resolutions for international business disputes (e.g., conciliation, mediation and arbitration).
