Description

1. Introducing students to the cultural and historical backgrounds of the 20th century. 2. Exploring various prominent British, American and Arab modern writers of the 20th century. 3. Studying various themes, techniques and styles of writing related to the 20th century literature. 4. Reading selected major English and Arabic novels, plays and poems from the 20th century. 5. Exposing students to various cultures and enhancing their translation abilities particularly in literary texts.
