Description

Students are able to gain the following knowledge skills: 1.1 Understand the four essential models related to public speaking, and communication in general and the concepts of which they are comprised along with the similarities among them, and the differences which make each one stand out in its own right, compared to the others. 1.2 Understand that public speaking is a multi-faceted skill and that it is closely linked to grasping the essence of effective communication (which is make your audience remember the main message, and key ideas of your speech). 1.3 Understand how to conduct a survey prior to giving a speech, and the types of analysis which speakers can perform in order to gain understanding of their audience 1.4 Gain an in-depth understanding of how to create a successful speech through out all the required phases starting from gathering the data (which in itself is dependent on knowing from the start which are the sources of data that can be useful in order to fulfill such a task, and the types of data which can be collected to serve the same purpose), in addition to mastering the usage of the different patterns which can be used to present the data, and the rules related to building a successful, effective and impactful introduction and conclusion for the speech
