Description

The course introduces the general nature of computer hardware, software and systems. Introduction to computer concepts: Terminology, word processing, spreadsheets, database management, presentation graphics, and the Internet. Hands-on applications include introduction to word processing, principles of electronic spreadsheets using features available with currently popular spreadsheet software: Worksheet creation and formatting entering of data, formulas, and s editing and printing basic charting basic database s of sorting and querying, and presentation software, and a brief introduction to web browsing and e-mail.
