Description

This course assists students in gaining knowledge about the concepts, purposes and classification of costs and the effect of modern environmental changes on the elements of product cost. This course aims at analyzing cost elements to determine unit cost of final products, defining the role of cost accounting by gaining knowledge about the different methods used to calculate product cost, according to the nature and the requirements of the activity and other alternative ways. In addition of clarifying the relation between cost, volume and profit, using break even analysis to calculate target profit.
